According to The Boston Herald, the current economic recessions is making people find ways to cut costs. Oddly enough results of a survey carried by the National Retail Federation showed that, people plan to save money by getting cheaper gifts for family members while most expressed that on an average they will spend their same amount as last year on their friends. The main reason is that family members are more understandable taking into account the impact of the economic depression in the pocket of the person giving a present.
