Metropolitan Mediation Services (M.M.S.) is offering a 36 hour certificate program of training in mediation. Learn skills to resolve disputes, communicate, and effectively contribute to your community. Continuing education credits may be available.
M.M.S has offered mediation services in the Greater Boston area for over twenty years. We serve businesses, government agencies, schools, social service agencies, individuals, families and a number of Massachusetts District, Boston Municipal, and Juvenile court divisions. Our trainers are all practicing mediators, many from university, court, state or federal agency programs. Many M.M.S. trainers have taught or supervised mediators for the Graduate Programs in Dispute Resolution at UMass Boston, the Harvard Mediation Program, Northeastern University Law School and Suffolk University Law School. For your convenience, training sessions are scheduled primarily (though not entirely) on evenings and weekends.
