Based on the hit British film, The Full Monty follows six unemployed steel workers in Buffalo who are willing to make some rather desperate moves to earn some quick cash. With the strength they find in each other, the men work to overcome their fears and insecurities, and prove themselves to the town that forgot about them. Book by Terrence McNally. Music and Lyrics by David Yazbek. Directed by Laura Marie Duncan. Musical Direction by Steven Ladd Jones. Conducted by Peter Mansfield. Choreographed by Michelle Chassé.

«My experience doing the show on Broadway was nothing short of magical and examining it again with Boston Conservatory students reminds me what a special piece it is,» says Duncan. «This is not just a show about guys taking their clothes off. ItÂ’s an honest and heart-centered story about overcoming adversity and insecurities. As funny as the show is, the journey these laid-off steel workers take to unite in their suffering and come together is what truly makes it such a joy to watch!»

Laura Marie Duncan, who graduated from The Boston Conservatory in 1994, has appeared on Broadway in Billy Elliot, South Pacific, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and The Fully Monty. Her Off-Broadway credits include House and Garden, Cupid and Psyche, Heat Lightning, and The Body Beautiful.
