Al menos tres personas están heridas, dos de ellas de manera crítica, tras una situación de tirador activo en el Astillero Naval de Pearl Harbor.
Los informes indican que el tirador fue asegurado. Según fuentes, varios civiles están entre las víctimas del tiroteo que ocurrió en Drydock 2.
El personal de la base recibió mensajes de textos para ser alertados por la situación. Un testigo dijo que estaba en su escritorio cuando escuchó ruidos fuertes.
«Lo reconozco como disparos. Miré por la ventana y vi a tres personas en el suelo», dijo el testigo.
