David Morales is the Vice President of Public Policy and Strategic Planning at Steward Health Care System. He oversees public policy at Steward for both federal and state government. Morales advises the Chairman and CEO regarding strategic and innovative initiatives for the system. Morales previously served as Commissioner of the Massachusetts Division of Health Care Finance and Policy where he led efforts to enhance access to care, while reducing health care costs in the nation’s health care market. Morales is a dedicated public and community servant, who has founded multiple non-profit organizations committed to fostering leadership and civic engagement in Massachusetts.
