Eva A. Millona has been the executive director of MIRA since 2008, but she has been part of that organization for more than a decade. The media considers her one of the most sought-after experts on immigration in New England. In her native Albania, Millona studied law and became a judge. Here she has received several prizes for her work on behalf of the immigrant community, among them the prestigious 2009 US Citizenship and immigration Service’s Outstanding American by Choice Award and the 2010 Wainwright Bank Social Justice Award.
