Claudio Martinez, cofounder and current director of the Hyde Square Task Force, tirelessly advocates for rights and opportunities for low-income Latino residents. He has been a Boston School Committee member since 2008 and helped found and Co-Chairs the English Language Learner Task Force (ELL). He is also a Trustee of The Boston Foundation, the Nellie Mae Education Foundation and is a Barr Foundation Fellow. Most recently he received the Nicholas P. Bollman Award by the Funders Network for his comprehensive vision for community development and in 2013 was named a MIT CoLab Mel King Community Fellow.
