En 2001 José Barriga produjo la primera edición del BLIFF, festival de cine que se ha convertido en uno de los más importantes en el área de Boston. En 2013 BLIFF celebró su duodécimo año consecutivo de operaciones. Desde su primera edición, este festival sin fines de lucro ha sido financiado por Harvard University. Cada año, BLIFF abre una convocatoria para participantes y recibe un promedio de 300 postulantes provenientes de América Latina y EE.UU. Barriga es psicólogo social de profesión, y con Viceversa Communications él se ha especializado en marketing bilingà 1/4e y comunicaciones para organizaciones sin fines de lucro, empresas de salud y de biotecnología.
In 2001 José Barriga founded the 1st BLIFF edition. In 2013 BLIFF marks its 12th year of continuous operations to become one of the largest film festivals of the Boston area. BLIFF is fully volunteer run and has been, since its 1st edition, financially funded and hosted by Harvard University. Every year BLIFF opens a call for entries process that collects an average of 300 movies applying from Latin America and the US. Barriga is a social psychologist by training that specializes in bilingual marketing and communications for the healthcare, nonprofit and biotech industries at Viceversa Communications.
