Danielle Flint is employed by ChildrenA’s Friends & Family were she works collaboratively with families and professionals to find community resources, teach parenting skills, navigate special education and public child-serving agencies, and empower parents to advocate effectively for themselves. Following her desire to help others, in 2011 she completed an Associate Degree in Human Services from Bunker Hill Community College and is currently a student at Salem State University where she will obtain her MasterA’s Degree in Social Work.A

Danielle is a mother of two young children, one of which has Sickle Cell Disease. She actively participates along with her young family in activities organized by the Greater Boston Sickle Cell Disease Association. Out of her own initiative she is organizing Hoops for Hope, a basketball tournament and fundraiser in collaboration with the Paris Street Community Center in East Boston to raise awareness about Sickle Cell Disease.
