BOSTON Â- Charter public schools in the Boston area will hold a free information and enrollment showcase on Saturday, February 4 from 9 AM to 12 PM at Boston University.
The showcase offers a great opportunity for parents to learn about the academic programs offered by Boston-area charter public schools, many of which have the highest MCAS scores in the city. Parents can meet with leaders from those schools, and complete applications for the fall 2012 school year.
Charter schools are tuition-free public schools that are open to all children in Grades K-12. Enrollment for each school is determined by lottery, which will be held in March.
The showcase is being held at the BU Fitness & Recreation Center, Basketball Court #1 915 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA For more information, call 617-523-0881, or visit www.charterschoolboston.org.
