Boston, MAÂ- The company of the new 25th Anniversary Production of Les Misérables will present a one-night-only cabaret to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Monday, March 19th at Club Café (209 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA) with a VIP after-party at KimptonÂ’s Nine Zero Hotel (90 Tremont Street, Boston, MA). Doors open at 7pm and the performance will begin at 7:30pm at Club Café. After the concert, VIP tickets holders will have exclusive access to the after-party and live auction at KimptonÂ’s Nine Zero Hotel.
Ticket prices range from $30-$100. VIP ticket holders at $100 will receive access to the after-party, a meet and greet with the cast, and a special Les Misérables gift bag. All proceeds will go to BC/EFA, which supports individuals affected by critical health issues, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS. During the Boston engagement the cast of the 25th Anniversary production of Les Miserables will also be accepting donations for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at the conclusion of each performance.
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS awards annual grants to more than 400 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide and is the major supporter of the social service programs at The Actors Fund, including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic. In 2011, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS granted $110,000 to AIDS and family service organizations in Massachusetts, including Boston area providers like AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, Fenway Community Health Center and Community Servings.
