The 21st Annual Benefit Art Auction

Each spring, the Annual Benefit Art Auction at MassArt draws a crowd of over 600 collectors and art enthusiasts, each one hoping to capture the joy of discovery, the thrill of the hunt–a new work of art to bring home! The MassArt Auction is one of the year’s most popular social events; attracting Bostonians committed to supporting the arts.
Among the nationally and internationally known artists, emerging artists, MassArt alumni, faculty, and students represented in this year’s auction are: Ambreen Butt ’97, Tara Donovan, Lalla Essaydi, Todd McKie, Jun Kaneko, William Kentridge, Abelardo Morell, Nick Nixon, James Siena, Alec Soth, Sarah Sze, and William Wegman ’65.
Date: Saturday, April 10 2010–doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The Live Auction begins at 7:30 p.m. with Skinner Auctioneers’ CEO, Karen Keane, poised with gavel in hand.
Preview Reception: Thursday, April 8, 2010–6:00-8:00 p.m.
Ticket Price: $175 per person, (prior to event) includes ticket to Auction and Preview Reception on April 8, 2010. **$200 per person (at the door of the event)
