Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar, a vibrant, energetic Mexican eatery with an attitude is set to hit Boston in late Fall 2010. Brother and sister team, Christopher and Stephanie Jamison, of C S Hospitality Group has partnered with cb5 Restaurant Group to bring this spicy, smoldering dining spot to Boston’s Back Bay. The space, located at 271 Dartmouth Street, is currently occupied by Papa Razzi, which will remain open until its mid-September move to Newbury Street.

Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar will offer up exceptional yet approachable Mexican fare with a twist, crafted by the red-hot culinary team at cb5 Restaurant Group. With an atmosphere so thick and throbbing it is enticing enough alone, Lolita’s kitchen delivers its refreshing approach to Mexican street-food and the moment sizzles. The menu entices with dishes such as ancho-orange glazed lobster enchiladas, sticky pork spare rib with a coffee, chocolate and sesame glaze, a selection of fresh ceviches and a crisp jicama salad, highlighting fresh, local ingredients prepared in a decadent Mexican style. With appetizers ranging from $6 to $15 and entrees from $18 to $29, Lolita will offer something for everyone.

Lolita’s unparalleled tequila list will boast hundreds of small batch and artisan labels, and the drink menu will feature a wide selection of tequila-based cocktails. The highlight of the bar scene is an innovative margarita list carefully articulated to encourage risk taking and exploration – think spicy cucumber habanero-infused margaritas and a fresh muddled prickly pear mojarita. An impressive selection of fresh sangria and mojitos round out the fresh-made cocktail options.
