Sociedad Latina Youth Leaders will host a benefit concert for the victims of this year’s earthquakes in Haiti and Chile on May 20 at Berklee College’s David Friend Recital Hall. For the event, Sociedad Latina’s Music Clubhouse Ensemble will share the stage with some of Boston’s most renowned Jazz artists, including Eguie Castrillo, Daryl Lowery and Mango Blue. ‘In Harmony for Haiti and Chile’ is a youth-run endeavor, as the organization provides paying jobs in their Clubhouse to select Youth Leaders.
Tickets are $6 and proceeds will go to support the American Red Cross’s relief efforts in Haiti and Chile.
