Boston, MA – Homenaje a Los Panchos, a concert celebrating the Golden Age of Bolero music, which is considered «the most romantic music in the world.» A musical tribute to the iconic Latin American musical group, Trío Los Panchos, this first-time Boston production will feature three outstanding trios from the region on Friday June 11, 2010, from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Efraín Salgado’s Trío Alma Latina, Grupo Yagua and Trío Los Bohemios will honor the most important Bolero group of all time. Trío Los Panchos had a career that spanned over four decades with highlights that include: selling millions of records, touring the world, collaborating with some of the greatest Latin music stars, and appearing in over 50 movies. Homenaje a Los Panchos, will be an evening filled with luscious ageless songs, as these three groups perform melodies immortalized by Los Panchos, original compositions and arrangements that will move your heart.
