The East Coast’s premier entertainment destination, Foxwoods Resort Casino, offers something for everyone, including literary lovers and fans of pop-culture, thanks to the «Friends and Authors» book signing and Q&A, sponsored by Penguin Publishing, taking place on Saturday April 24, 2010.
A who’s who of celebrity authors will be on hand to personally autograph copies of their books, followed by an exclusive Q&A, during which they’ll discuss their literary ventures, including:
* Mario Lopez, author of Mud Tacos, a fun story about family, games, and growing up;
* Emilio Estefan, author of Rhythm of Success, a motivational message for anyone in pursuit of making their most ambitious dreams become a reality, and;
* Perez Hilton, author of Perez Hilton’s True Bloggywood Stories, a hilarious inside-look on the top celebrity scandals that changed Hollywood forever.
Following a book signing in Foxwoods’ Grand Ballroom, a Q& A will take place in the legendary Fox Theater, and will be moderated by media personalities John Quinones, Co-Anchor of ABC’s Primetime and Lili Estefan, TV personality from Univision. Admission to the discussion is free with purchase of books.
Mario Lopez is currently the host of TV’s second-longest-running entertainment show, Extra, and MTV’s highest-rated program, Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew, and plays Dr. Mike Hamoui on FX’s hit show Nip/Tuck. He is also a recurring commentator
for HBO Boxing. In 2008, Mario was named People’s Hottest Bachelor, after becoming one of the most famous finalists of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and making his Broadway debut in A Chorus Line. Among an array of other memorable acting and hosting roles, Mario is fondly remembered as the character A.C. Slater on the wildly popular 1990s sitcom Saved by the Bell.
