If fright flicks weren’t enough to make your blood run cold, the Great Cedar Exhibition Hall will be transformed into a dark world of ghouls and goblins beginning Thursday, October 14. From 5 to 7 p.m. nightly, this 4D haunted adventure is kid-friendly, but after dark, enter only if you dare. The House of Fangs can rattle even the bravest of souls with its 3,000 square feet of animated monsters, live actors, and pure terror.

For those who’d rather skip right to the treats, a life-sized monster museum walk will accompany the haunted house, featuring everyone’s favorite Horror-wood stars. Fifteen lifelike monsters will line the halls, including Dracula and Freddy Krueger. The haunted house is open through Halloween, with daily tours from 5 to 11 p.m.

Once you’ve been scared silly, shake it off and get outside and enjoy the crisp New England weather on a horse-drawn carriage ride around Mashantucket. Every Saturday and Sunday in October (and the first weekend in November), guests can enjoy Foxwoods’ version of the traditional hay ride. The eight-seat carriages leave from the Great Cedar Valet every 20 minutes and are allergy-friendly without hay. Whi
