WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP
Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008 – MIT Campus, Cambridge, MA
Workshop held in conjunction with EmTech08 Conference at MIT
This timely half-day workshop spotlights critical issues faced by women in the technical fields. We launched this workshop last year, and it was a great success, drawing more than 350 men and women from leading companies, universities, and government agencies worldwide.
The Women in Technology Workshop is a pre-conference workshop held in conjunction with EmTech08 at MIT. Now in its eighth year, EmTech at MIT consistently attracts around 1,000 senior-level decision makers from the business, investment, and technology communities. Our attendees come from Global 2000 companies, powerful government agencies, and top media organizations. This influential, senior-level audience is carried over to the workshop.
The 2008 workshop agenda features dynamic keynotes from top female leaders and interactive breakout sessions on topics such as intrapreneurship and fostering innovation, real world ways to expand your professional network, social entrepreneurship, lessons from senior tech leaders, and cool innovations by women.
