The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), will hold a FREE Community Day sponsored by Bank of America on Wednesday, November 11 (Veterans Day), from 10 am to 9:45 pm offering free admission to the entire Museum. Visitors can view treasures in the Museum’s numerous galleries for free, as well as the special exhibition The Secrets of Tomb 10A: Egypt 2000 BC, featuring masterworks from an Egyptian tomb of the Middle Kingdom that are on view together for the first time. This Free Day (and Secrets of Tomb 10A) are made possible with support from Bank of America. Veterans Day Free Community Day is part of the MFA’s 9 in ’09 initiative, offering free Museum admission once per month (nine times) through 2009, providing opportunities for all families to enjoy the Museum and its treasures. Further information is below and images available.
