Message from La Alianza Hispana: Are you ready for tonight’s Telemaratón? At La Alianza Hispana we are getting ready to head over to the studios at Cuencavision. We are absolutely thrilled about this event and look forward to hearing from our supporters tonight! Public service ads are continually running on radio and TV and every day more and more community leaders are offering messages of support for La Alianza Hispana’s Race to 40k by posting videos on YouTube.
The Telemaratón airs from 6 to 10pm on Cuencavision (channel 26). If you want to swing by to bring your donation, you can come directly to the Cuencavision studios at 903 Albany Street in Roxbury, MA. The four-hour live event will raise funds for La Alianza Hispana programs and services. An all-star extravaganza of local talent and community leaders will be joining us. They include: Angel Salcedo, host of «Encuentro Latino»; Yadires Nova-Salcedo, host and producer of WBZ-TV’s Centro; Francis Concepción, Producer of Univision Nueva Inglaterra; Alberto Vasallo, Vice President of El Mundo; David Suazo, radio personality of Tu Alegria Latina 1330 AM; and the following musical artists: Lengua Viva, Livio Arías, Marina Rodríguez and flamenco from La Lira and Roberto, Ariel and his bachata and many more performers, artists, and local talent.
Please bring your people!!!! We have organizations such as the Latino Professional Network, the Massachusetts Hispanic Law enforcement Association (MHLEA), El Mundo, El Planeta, Univision Boston, Boston Latino TV and the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) coming to bring their contributions. You can organize your friends and family to bring their donations directly to the studios as well.
