Revs to partner with Boston’s Mayor Menino for Health Kick 2009

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – On Saturday, February 21, the New England Revolution will host Revolution Health Kick 2009, a youth health and wellness fair, at the Madison Park Community Center (55 Malcolm X Blvd., Roxbury, Mass.) in conjunction with Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and the City of Boston Parks & Recreation Department. The free event will run 1-3 p.m. and will feature indoor games and activities, health tips, nutritional information, giveaways, prizes and more for the city’s children and families.

Mayor Menino will open the afternoon at 1 p.m., with several remarks before the program officially gets underway. Members of the Revolution will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures, while also assisting children in the activity areas.
