Felt Boston is producing and hosting the first ever Miss Boston 2008 Model Search Competition starting this coming Saturday, June 14th, 2008. The three-week competition will give a beautiful, talented, and young Bostonian the opportunity to be crowned «Miss Boston 2008» with exciting modeling and exposure opportunities. The competition is dedicated to finding the ultimate local model to be the face of Boston for 2008. Over 50 contestants have already signed up for the rigorous pre-screening process, as only 12 contestants will have a chance to compete for the title.
Confirmed judges for the event include current Miss Massachusetts USA 2008, Jacqueline Bruno, Mister USA, Jacob Hill, Co-founder of Stomp Fashion Magazine, Reggie Bostic Alleyne, WHDH 7 News reporter, Romeo, FNX AM show «the Sandbox» Special Ed, high-fashion model and Polina Fashion founder, Polina Raygorodskaya, and other local talents and/or celebrities. The entire three-week event will be filmed live and hosted by Dirty Water TV-the filmed episode will air on CN8 Comcast Network on Sunday July 13th.
The crowned winner of the competition will receive a round trip to a tropical destination, a magazine spread in Stomp Fashion Magazine (2009 Issue), a fashion photo shoot with renowned fashion photographer, Stewart Smith and a luxurious gift basket with items provided by event sponsors and partners.
Entertainment for the evening will include guest appearances, a celebrity favorite-DJ White Shadow (June 28th) and other invited talents. Guests will be treated to a tropical island theme with Felt decorated in complete beach-ready gear and scene setters. As such, attire accepted for the events will include beach wear (i.e. sandals, flip-flops, sun dresses and bikini tops).
