On Exhibit: April 4 – April 28, 2008
The works to be exhibited vary in their content. The artists examine themes of power and desire, family and memory, disappearance and immigration, the slave trade, the language of signage, the intersection between life, art, entertainment and politics, as well the effects of global communication on society.

Driving Directions:
Take I-93N to Logan Airport-Callahan Tunnel exit. Enter the Logan Airport Callahan Tunnel and take the first exit which says EAST BOSTON EXIT. Take your first right toward EAST BOSTON. You’ll seeSantarpio’s pizza in front of you. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto PORTER ST which is on the left of Santarpio’s pizza. Turn RIGHT onto COTTAGE STREET. The gallery is on the right.
Public Transportation:
From the airport stop on the blue line take a right out of the station towards where it says buses and shuttles and towards MEMORIAL PARK (make sure it’s NOT the Bennington Street exit). When you exit the station, take a right, and walk down the path through memorial park. When you reach the end, walk up the small hill to PORTER STREET. Take a LEFT on PORTER, and walk two blocks until the road ends at COTTAGE STREET. Take a right at COTTAGE STREET and the gallery is on your right (it’s a 5-8 minute walk).
Free Parking:
Once you get to Cottage St. go straight until you get to Maverick St. Take a right on Maverick and then take your first right on Mckay PL. Park in the parking lot of the Donald McKay school .The gallery is one block from the parking lot.
