Hispanic MBAs Partner with Boston Businesses to Provide Job Opportunities

Boston, MA – The National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA) will host a free event titled «Ride It Out, Assessing Your Career During an Economic Crisis» on Thursday, March 26th from 6-9pm at the Marriott Copley Hotel, Boston, MA.  The event, in partnership with The Prudential Insurance Company of America, is designed to provide professionals who have been affected by this economy with an opportunity to interact with potential employers and discuss career opportunities.

«We wanted to host an event in which we can provide both hope and real opportunities to Hispanics in Boston who may have been laid off or are having trouble finding jobs during this tough economic time» commented Claudia Guzman, president of NSHMBA’s Boston chapter.

The event will feature a panel discussion with representatives from Prudential, EMC, Harvard University and Ocean Spray.  The same companies, along with Liberty Mutual, will also have representatives present to provide information on career opportunities at their locations.  The panel and networking evening is open to both NSHMBA and non-NSHMBA members but space is limited.  Please register online at www.boston.nshmba.org.
