BOSTON, MA- The Esplanade Association (TEA), a non-profit organization working to restore and enhance Boston’s historic Esplanade, is hosting its first annual Esplanade Fall Cleanup on Saturday, November 7. The Esplanade is home to nearly 2000 trees, and in preparing the Esplanade for its winter coat of snow, more than 300 volunteers will pitch in to clear the parkland of fallen leaves, trash, and other debris.
TEA volunteers will meet at the DCR Hatch Shell at 10am on Saturday the 7th, and will work until 1pm. To ensure that everyone’s in the fall spirit, TEA will provide apples, cider, and more. Gloves and rakes will be supplied, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gear. All ages are welcome.
The rain date for this event is Sunday, November 8.
