Dominicanos ganan terreno en EEUU con líderes en diferentes posiciones políticas

Washington, DC– The Dominican American National Roundtable extends congratulations to Dominicans who won elected office and those who were re-elected in the US on November 3rd, 2009. Following is a preliminary list for your information:

Hon. Julio Guridy (D), re-elected to his third term, Allentown, PA.

Hon. Idanys Rodriguez (D), elected Councilman, New York City Council District 10th, Washington Heights, NY.

Hon. Diana Reyna (D), re-elected Councilwoman, New York City Council District 34th in Brooklyn, NY.

Hon. William Lantigua, first Hispanic elected Mayor in Lawrence, MA. First Hispanic elected Mayor in the State of Massachusetts.

Hon. Fernando Cabrera, elected Councilman, New York City Council 14th, Bronx, NY.
