Dine like a President – Cuisine of the American Presidents, from childhood to The White House, during the entire month of July

In honor of our independence, come to The Fireplace and enjoy the foods of our greatest native sons. Those U.S. presidents who were born, raised or vacationed annually in the six New England states will be honored. A culinary exploration into what these patriots ate and drank will be revealed.

To be served:
John Adams recipes and preferred versions of Hasty Pudding and Apple Pan Dowdy
Mrs. Calvin Coolidge’s Lemon Pie
President Taft’s ‘Deacon Porter’s Hat’
President Kennedy’s Favorite Waffles
and even Mrs. George H.W. Bush’s ‘Yummy Green Beans’

These culinary treats will accompany The Fireplace’s always All-American ‘Red, White and Blue’ wine list. The president’s dearest libations will also be imbibed.

Dinner – Sunday through Wednesday, 5 to 10 pm, Thursday through Saturday, 5 to 11 pm
Lunch – Monday to Friday from 11 am to 2:30 pm
Brunch – Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 2:30 pm
