Las tasas de impuestos residenciales disminuyeron este año en Massachusetts, según reseñó Patch.
“La tasa impositiva residencial mediana para las 344 comunidades”, con información del 7 de enero “es de $15.27 por cada mil dólares en valor tasado, de acuerdo con los últimos datos de la División de Servicios Locales del Departamento de Ingresos”.
Un monto que se encuentra por debajo de la cifra de 2019, cuando se ubicaba en 15,48 dólares por cada mil dólares de valor tasado. Lo que representa un aumento de 38 centavos desde el 2018 y una disminución de 21 centavos con respecto al monto para este 2020.
La ciudad con la tasa de impuesto residencial más baja se encuentra en Berkshires, en la frontera de Connecticut. La tasa de impuestos en Hancock es de 2,78 dólares.
Junto con Hancock, entre las diez primeras comunidades se encuentran también Martha’s Vineyard y el Cabo, así como una de las ciudades más grandes del estado de Cambridge.
Los habitantes de Longmeadow por su parte, tienen una vez más las tasas de impuestos residenciales más altas, con 24,21 dólares, lo que representa un incremento de 12 centavos a partir de 2018.
Para Boston la tasa de impuesto será de $10.56, 2 centavos más que la cifra del año pasado. “La mayoría de los suburbios circundantes están entre $9 y $13. La tasa de impuesto residencial en Worcester es de $17”.
