Simón Ríos is an award winning radio reporter at WBUR, Boston’s NPR News station. As a general assignment reporter, his coverage ranges from the gentrification transforming the Boston area to issues of special importance to the Latino community. Simón is an Uruguayan-American, a native of Jamaica Plain, and he has worked as a reporter in New Bedford as well as Nashua, New Hampshire. His presence at WBUR brings Spanish reporting to the station, in both print and radio, and he wants to continue finding ways to give Boston’s diverse communities the coverage they deserve.
