Un total de 116 feligreses, diáconos y miembros de órdenes religiosas fueron reconocidos con medallas Cheverus Awards por el Cardenal Sean O’Malley. Se trata de un reconocimiento que se entrega desde 2008 a católicos que hayan servido de manera ejemplar a la Iglesia. La mayoría de las personas que reciben este reconocimiento son nominadas por sus pastores, mientras que algunos galardonados son escogidos por el Cardenal O’Malley.
