José Duarte (Taranta) | Born in Peru but raised in Venezuela, chef Duarte has established a solid reputation in Boston for always being ahead, both with his novel dishes and his approach to operating his restaurant, Taranta. In 2008 Duarte received the Green Business Award, a prize granted by the city of Boston to the greenest and most sustainable business. In addition, last year Duarte earned the Chef of the Year award in Massachusetts.
