Latin Image Productions, Inc. presents the most anticipated event to take place in this area – The 2010 Miss Latina Worcester County™. This exciting event will take place on July 24, 2010 at 12:00 PM at the majestic Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts located on 2 Southbridge Street, Worcester.
This extraordinary event is a cultural, scholarship, and personal development program established to provide young Latina girls and adult Latina women with an opportunity to enhance their individual skills, their cultural knowledge, and showcase their personal and cultural attributes. Leading to the big event, participants take part in a series of personal development workshops with topics such as personal safety, self-esteem building, career and college exploration, self defense, health and wellness, social etiquette, skin care, public speaking, modeling, and dance classes. Thirty participants will compete this year in four age divisions and four contest categories for scholarships, tons of prizes and for the titles of: Little Miss Latina Worcester County™, Teen Latina Worcester County™, Miss Latina Worcester County, and Señora Latina Worcester County™. The main contests include a cultural presentation in oral and art form, a cultural dress presentation, sportswear, and evening gown.
Other contests include: Most Talented, Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic, People’s Choice and Cover Girl. The 2010 Miss Latina Worcester County™ promises to be the largest and most recognizable culturally-oriented event in Worcester County; promoting cultural awareness and instilling cultural pride.
