The Hispanics Achieving and Celebrating Excellence Committee will hold its 25th annual event on Wednesday, October 6, at 5:30 p.m., in the Athletic Center. Each year, this committee, composed of Quinsigamond Community College staff members and representatives of several Worcester community groups, honors approximately 30 high school seniors who have been nominated in the categories of Arts, Athletics, Academics, Leadership, and/or Community Service. The students are nominated by their classroom teachers, guidance counselors, or principals, and receive personal recognition and an award of $200 – $250 to encourage each of them to continue along the positive path they have chosen.

Tickets may be purchased from Deborah Gonzalez in Community Engagement (Rm. 119A), the co-chair of the HACE Committee; Maria Addison in the Advising Center (Rm. 61A); Liz Ortiz, Pat Solitro, or Susan Laprade in the President’s office (Rm. 132A); or you may print and complete the form below and return it to Mailbox # 8. Even if you cannot attend the HACE Dinner, please consider buying a ticket to donate and be used by the family members of the students.
