El Clon delivers nearly 1.4 million viewers (Persons 2 ) and 770,000 Adults 18-49

MIAMI – February 18, 2010 – Telemundo, a leading producer of
high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and audiences around the
world, announced the NTI results for the February 15 premiere of the
network’s highly-anticipated novela «El Clon» today. According to Nielsen,
the novela delivered nearly 1.4 million viewers (Persons 2 ) and 770,000
Adults 18-49. Cume ratings reveal that nearly 3.4 million persons have
watched «El Clon» since its Monday premiere.

The premiere of Telemundo’s «El Clon» was the second-highest delivery among
Persons 2  regardless of measurement in the 8pm time period in network
history, behind «Tierra de Pasiones.» Additionally, the premiere’s delivery
among the Adults 18-49 demographic is the second-highest in NTI measurement
for Telemundo behind «Tierra de Pasiones.»

«El Clon» is the biggest production in Telemundo’s history. The result of a
groundbreaking partnership between Telemundo and Globo TV and produced by
Producciones RTI, the magnificent production films in HD in Morocco, Miami
and Colombia. The original production was a ratings phenomenon when it
debuted, and the new version promises to become a television icon in 2010.
The novela stars Mauricio Ochmann and Sandra Echeverria.

The author of the original version, Gloria Perez, has played an essential
role in the re-imagined adaptation of the «El Clon» love story during the
pre-production phase. Together with TV Globo executives and the Telemundo
Studios’ creative team, the Brazilian writer established the creative premise
of the new version.

«El Clon», a novela that broke audience records, tells the unforgettable
story of Lucas and Jade; two people from very different cultures who defy the
rules to defend their impossible love.  They will experience an intense
romance that will transcend the barriers of time, tradition and culture.
Jade, a Muslim woman and Lucas, an American man meet unexpectedly and fall in
love at first sight.
