The WFNX Best Music Poll Free Concert is this Saturday, August 1st at 4pm, rain or shine. And it’s supposed to shine so get to the City Hall Plaza at Government Center for a great outdoor concert. The concert will feature The Bravery, the Airborne Toxic Event, Gaslight Anthem, Metric, Passion Pit, and Ra Ra Riot, and is open to all ages. Beer will be sold to those of legal drinking age.
The bravery, formed in New York City in 2003, is an alternative rock band with electronic influences. Airborne Toxic Event, from Los Angeles, CA, is an American indie rock band. Metric is a new wave/indie rock band that was formed in 1998 in New York, but is now based out of Canada. Passion Pit, which was a winner of FNX’s best music poll last year, is an electronic and indie-pop band from our very own Cambridge, MA. Ra Ra Riot, formed in 2006, is an indie rock band from Syracuse, NY.
