The Unicorn, a 118 foot tall ship, ran aground this morning, hitting some rocks off of the Massachusetts coast. No injuries were sustained when the ship, 400 yards off the shores of Nunamesset Island in Woods Hole, hit bottom at 10:30 am. Ten of the sixteen people on board were teenage girls, who were taken off the ship by the Coast Guard. Six crew members remained behind to assist in freeing the ship. They are being assisted by two tugboats. The Unicorn is the only all-female crewed tall ship in the world.
