BOSTON – Retirement planning is a topic that can be daunting for most people, but Ric Edelman, bestselling author of Rescue Your Money, will cover the subject in an entertaining and educational way at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, at the Boston Public Library’s Rabb Lecture Hall in Copley Square. Rabb Lecture Hall is located on the concourse level of the Central Library at 700 Boylston Street.
In addition to recently being named the #1 Independent Financial Advisor by Barron’s magazine, Edelman has made a name for himself as a best-selling author, columnist, and expert on the topic of finances for the average worker. He is the host of a national radio show and a PBS special, Rescue Your Retirement.
Mr. Edelman’s one-hour presentation on September 24 will cover such topics as:

This event kicks off the fall 2009 How Can I Afford Retirement? Investor Education series at the Boston Public Library. This free, 4-part educational series is designed for those who are thinking about retirement or recently retired.
