Preparation for the July 15th Release of Harry Potter: The Half-Blood Prince

It seems everybody is getting in the spirit for the highly anticipated movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.  Sixth in a series of seven, the movie hits theatres on July 15th.  You can be sure there will be a line out the door of devoted Harry Potter fans, dressed to the nines in their witch and wizard robes.  Most movie theatres in and around Boston are offering fans the option to pre-order their tickets online, and you can bet that even those will run out fast.  A number of venues around Massachusetts and New England are holding miniature film festivals of the Harry Potter films prior to its opening on the 15th.  The Providence Public Library is holding a free Harry Potter Film festival in its central library, on Monday the 13th at 1pm.  Attendees may enter a contest for the chance to win a Harry Potter Box set that includes all seven books.  Each film will be shown twice over the two days before the 6th movie hits theatres.  For those closer to Boston, the Thayer Public Library in Braintree will also be showing Harry Potter films on the 13th.  From 2pm to 8pm, they will be showing films four and five (The Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix), with snacks offered in between the films.  Muggles, it’s time once again to show your devotion to Harry Potter and his magical friends (and enemies, if you’re a Lord Voldemort fan).
