The Houston, TX clinic of Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s former physician, was raided on Wednesday, July 22nd by Los Angeles Police Department and Drug Enforcement Agency officers. Dr. Murray was in Nevada at the time of the raid, which occurred at 10:20 am and was apparently unexpected. It is believed that the police were searching for the late singer’s medical records, and Murray’s lawyer confirmed that the search warrant authorized law enforcement to seize items they believed constituted evidence of manslaughter. The warrant is supposedly linked to the results of Jackson’s autopsy report. So far, the police have focused their investigation on Propofol, an anesthetic used to put patients to sleep before surgery. Though Murray was with the pop icon when he died, he has not been considered a suspect in the investigation and has been cooperative with law enforcement.
