September is known to be Hispanic heritage month, and since 2006, El Planeta newspaper dedicates a day in the early fall to the wellness of the Hispanic families in Boston.
In line with tradition, this year El Planeta, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Metro PCS and Ringling Bros. & Barnum Bailey Circus, brings you HEALTH AND FAMILY 2009, the largest health and wellness event dedicated to the Hispanic community in Greater Boston.
This year’s entertainment will be provided by Ringling Bros. & Barnum Bailey Circus featuring Circus Fit, a national youth and fitness program that encourages America’s youth to lead healthy, active lifestyles by combining the fun of circus skills with stretching, strength building and aerobic exercise.
This fun and exciting event will be held on October 4, 2009 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center at Roxbury Community College at 1350 Tremont Street from 12 noon to 5PM. The location is just minutes away from the Roxbury Crossing T stop on the orange line.
This wonderful event will unite over 5000 people and dozens of exhibitors, healthcare service providers, employers and other organizations dedicated to serving the Hispanic community in Boston.
