Friends of Boston’s Homeless benefit @ The House of Blues

Boston, MA (November 23, 2009) House of Blues Boston and Friends of Boston’s Homeless are teaming up to host a warm Thanksgiving luncheon to 100 people in the Greater Boston homeless community on Wednesday, November 25th in the Music Hall.
Friends of Boston’s Homeless is in partnership with the Homeless Services of the Boston Public Health Commission to develop and support programs to help our community’s homeless move beyond shelter to live independent lives in our community. These programs include dignified, safe emergency services (a warm bed, a hot shower and a nutritious meal) as well as job training, adult education and literacy, employment services, life skills development and transitional and permanent affordable housing.
