As a partner at McCarter & English, Carolina Avellaneda advises executives on business negotiations, strategies for avoiding or settling litigation and protecting their assets. She provides employment law advice on a variety of issues, including wage and hour compliance, union organizing campaigns, and development of personnel policies and procedures. Avellaneda chairs the Leisure Industries section of the International Bar Association and is vice president of the legal arm of the Boston chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting. She is also an active member of the Massachusetts Staffing Association and the American Staffing Association.
