Public Meeting on Proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal for Fiscal Year 2015-2017
The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is developing a fiscal year 2015-2017 DBE Goal that is required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and pursuant to the Federal regulation 49 CFR Part 26 to be submitted by August 1, 2014.
The RTA will host a public meeting on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 155 Court Street, Brockton, Ma 02302 at 1:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the availability of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses, ensure nondiscrimination in the award of U.S. DOT-assisted contracts and making efforts to establish a level playing field for the participation of DBEs, as part of the RTA three-year DBE goal setting process.
Interested disadvantaged businesses and other business enterprises, public agencies, and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.
