El viernes 18 de diciembre a las 11:00am, se celebrará en Día Internacional de los Inmigrantes en el State House de Massachusetts. El programa para conmemorar este día contará con la participación del gobernador Charlie Baker, el Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo y el presidente del Senado, Stan Rosenberg.
Este es un programa abierto al público y el Centro Presente te invita a presenciar este acto. El Día Internacional de los Inmigrantes se celebra alrededor del mundo entero.

Commemorate International Migrants Day! December 18th is observed as International Migrants Day appointed by the General Assembly of United Nations on 4 December 2000, taking into account the large and increasing number of migrants in the world. On 18 December 1990, the General Assembly adopted the international convention on the protection of the rights of migrant workers and members of their families (resolution 45/158).
This day is observed in many countries by intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations through the dissemination of information on human rights and the fundamental political freedoms of migrants, and through the sharing of experiences and actions to ensure the protection of migrants.
