Ms. Marmanillo was born in Lima, Peru. She arrived to the City of Boston as permanent resident in 1991 with her family. A philanthropist and an active community leader who believes and enjoys supporting and organizing events that support women, children and education, she enjoys the arts, water sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Following in her mothera[euro](TM)s example, Ms. Marmanillo began her involvement in the community with the Hyde Square Task Force as a Peer tutor at the John F. Kennedy Elementary School; later becoming a board member of the organization. Ms. Marmanillo has worked in various CommunityHealthCenters and BostonAreaHospitals while attending school. She has earned a Bachelora[euro](TM)s Degree in Psychology from NortheasternUniversity and a Mastera[euro](TM)s Degree in Management from CambridgeCollege. She is a graduate of the Commonwealth Seminars (MassCS) and the Initiative for Diversity in Civic Leadership (IDCL).
Ms. Marmanillo is the immediate exiting Vice President of Public Relations for the ALPFA organization, Boston Chapter. In addition, she is an active community leader and member of several organizations including National Society of Hispanic MBAa[euro](TM)s, The Latino Professional Network (LPN); The Young Professionals group at the Massachusetts Women Political Caucus (MWPC); and the Society of Latino Alumni (SOLA) at Northeastern University, to name a few.
