The Progressive Business Leaders Network presents a conference on October 17th

The Progressive Business Leaders Network is the nation's only community for self-identified progressive CEOs and top officers of for profit companies. The PBLN is a non-partisan 501(c)3 animated by a shared commitment to greater social and environmental responsibility. Its mission is to promote the best practices of business leaders committed to socially and environmentally responsible economic growth and the public policy that advances it. The PBLN builds the community dedicated to this mission efficiently; through two best practices conferences a year.

In April, PBLN Inc. hosted a remarkable Summit in the US Senate. The upcoming conference on October 17th will feature many of Massachusetts' most dynamic CEOs, top officers, and public policy leaders in four highly interactive Working Group Forums on Education, Energy & Environment, Health Care & Life Sciences, and Housing & Economic Development. These forums will serve as the basis for the Working Groups' subsequent activities and are designed to initiate the intellectual and personal relationships that will empower business leaders to most effectively advance socially and environmentally responsible economic growth. Special guests include Governor Deval Patrick, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston President Eric Rosengren, and MA Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Daniel O'Connell. Congressman Barney Frank also hopes to attend, pending his needed service in Washington, DC.
