WBZ’s Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks about the sale and where the paper is headed with Phoenix Media President Bradley Mindich and «El Planeta’s» former Publisher and Co-Founder Javier Marin. In May of 2004, a weekly Spanish language newspaper called «El Planeta» was launched here in New England. With a circulation of 50,000 free copies, today «El Planeta» has a brand new owner, Phoenix Media/Communications Group.

Yadires Nova-Salcedo
Yadires Nova-Salcedo is the host and producer of «Centro,» a special news segment that airs on WBZ-TV Saturday mornings. «Centro» examines issues of importance to the Latino community including education, politics, current events and entertainment. Nova-Salcedo joined WBZ-TV in February 1996.
